Here are a couple of links to a band called Porcupine Tree. I don't know if anyone else has listened to them or not. Really good band. Good songwriting. Above average musicianship. Good vocals and lyrics. So, all of that pretty much equals being unheard of. This is definitely worth a listen though.

Porcupine tree are fantastic! "Fear" is one of my favorite albums, it has Alex Lifeson on one track, and Robert Fripp does the audio "treatments" on the album. Steven Wilson also works with Opeth quite a bit, quite a talented guy.
